Suzette and Russell started Every Stitch Counts in October 2018. It was Russell who encouraged Suzette to buy the business which was seen as a huge leap of faith, but she can now honestly say, “ I haven’t worked a day since.”

They love the challenges that owning the business brings, even working through the struggles of being small business owners throughout COVID. No two days are the same, and when you’re passionate about your profession, it shows.

Getting Started

In the beginning, Every Stitch Counts was a business based around Quilting, Wool and Alterations. In 2021 however, Suzette and Russell took the dream even further by also purchasing the local

Embroidery Shop, and combining the two businesses into one. They are now proud to be able to not only offer the fantastic products and service their original customers know them for, but can now also assist customers with all of their embroidery needs too.

Every Stitch Counts offers a friendly and professional option to have your workwear, corporate and teamwear embroidered or finished with heat transfers printed on them. This, together with any alterations you may need makes Every Stitch Counts the place to go for any professional garment requirements.
